How to Request Consented Samples
The Partners Biobank has developed powerful tools to help investigators define sample requests based on clinical data, research survey data, and sample attributes. You may design your request in the Research Patient Data Repository (RPDR) or in the Biobank Portal.
In order to obtain samples, you will also need:
- An IRB protocol that includes a provision for access to identified samples and data from the Biobank
- A Data Use Agreement
Once your sample request is defined, we typically provide samples within 1-3 weeks.

Using the RPDR
The Research Patient Data Registry (RPDR) is a centralized clinical data registry, or data warehouse. For questions regarding the RPDR, please visit rpdr.partners.org or contact RPDRHelp@partners.org. Faculty members may self-register to the RPDR by visiting rpdr.partners.org.
